Breaking News lets you push timely updates that appear as a scrolling ticker and a dedicated news feed on your site — perfect for announcements, alerts and quick updates.
Posting a news item
Go to Breaking News and add an item with:
- A title and body text.
- An optional image.
- Optional embedded media (YouTube, Spotify or SoundCloud links are turned into players automatically).
- A publish toggle and optional publish date.
Published items show on your news page and, if the ticker is on, in the scrolling ticker above the player. You can archive or delete items at any time.
Ticker or home-page card
Prefer a calmer site? Switch off Scrolling ticker at the top of the Breaking News section. The ticker bar disappears from every page and a Breaking News card appears on your home page, just below Recently Played. It shows your latest headline and a button to the full news page. The card only appears while you have at least one published item. Switch the ticker back on at any time.
Renaming the section
Use the Section Title Override panel to replace the default "Breaking News" title and subtitle with your own words — for example "Station Bulletins". Your wording is used on the news page, the home-page card and the footer link, in every site language. Leave a field empty to go back to the default.
Importing news from an RSS feed
You can connect an RSS source, preview the items, and import them into your breaking news — handy for stations that relay headlines from a trusted feed. Older items are tidied up automatically so the list stays manageable.
